FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What will my child do at camp?

Students will be grouped by age for plenty of fun outdoor activities, with a mix of indoor time to get out of the heat! Outdoor time will be filled with relay races, water games, obstacle runs, and playground time. Indoor time will be spent doing enriching activities like arts & crafts, science experiments, tie-dying camp shirts, team building activities, games in the gym and always a Fun Friday event!

What are the details for pre-camp care and after-camp care?

After-camp care is available from 3:30 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. for $25 per day and $100 per week per child.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a $100 deposit per camper is required to reserve your spot, and it will be credited to your registration payment.

What should my child bring to camp?

Campers should arrive at camp wearing a swimsuit under their clothes, with a base layer of sunscreen already applied. Campers must bring a towel and wear sneakers and socks. Flip-flops or sandals are not allowed.

Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt that must be worn on field trip days. Additional shirts may be purchased for $10.00 each. Please put your child’s name on everything, especially towels, socks and goggles!

Campers should also bring a packed lunch with extra snacks. We also offer lunch each week at a cost of $50 per week - if you choose this option, still pack your child a morning and an afternoon snack. Some children prefer to bring a sweatshirt for days spent inside.

What should my child NOT bring to camp?

Money, toys, and electronic devices are best left at home. We will reapply sunscreen as needed throughout the day, so there’s no need to pack any!

What should I do if my child is sick?

Please keep your child at home for 24 hours after a fever goes down or if they complain of a stomach ache, earache or a headache. From experience, we have found you will soon be back to pick them up. It is better to be overly cautious than to risk exposing the rest of the staff and the children to contagious sickness.

We are equipped to deal with minor cuts, scratches, abrasions, etc. EMS is located nearby and will be called immediately in the event of a more serious injury.
